Glad to be on the upswing of the pendulum of life

After a long string of dreary days at work, I finally had a good one! I think that getting my new yellow pirate-fish shirt last night must have been a good omen (available off of www.venganza.org).

I managed to squeeze two solid proposals out of the team that used to work for me, and had a very productive "performance review" with the boss-man. I've never seen him so receptive to ideas that come from outside his cranium. It was very weird, but in a good way.

To top it off, my gamers seem to be liking my idea for a new D&D campaign! The old one is getting rather long in the tooth, and I'm dying to do something new. Take two parts Sinbad, one part Firefly/Serenity, shake, and pour through the filter of my own psyche. I am occasionally quite proud of the things that spill out of my brain...

Now I just need to remember to work on the sprinklers this weekend, and maybe even do a spot of cooking. Oh yes! and a double-date tomorrow night! Yaay!
