I have successfully dyed my first garment! The raw silk Bullseye shirt is now "yellow pirate" yellow. Thank you,
mstarfire! #2 says it is now "joyful yellow," which must be just a shade brighter than her once-favorite "happy yellow."
This small-but-sweet victory, along with the glass of vinho verde in my hand, will make tonight's high school open house bearable. I shall now go dress, preen, and emotionally prepare myself for being at least five years younger than the other parent in the room.
I swear, if I don't get unsolicited compliments on #1's performance at school... ;-)
Boy, it's really pouring outside!

**I mean expecting others to be aware enough to have noticed this quickly how great the girls are? *grin*
Glad the shirt worked out!
