quisletWell, it looks like I finally did come down with that darned throat bug. My "granddaughter" tells me that there is an old Argentine saying that "If you get a rash doing something you love, it doesn't itch at all." Sounds like Argentines know more about that sort of thing than I expected, but the bug was caught in the course of a lovely weekend. The Argentines are right: it doesn't bother me at all. :)

ginger_rose and I volunteered to bring truck and cats to skiafoxmorgan, which should be its own reward. Sheepishly, I must admit that I took the opportunity to secret my love of 18.5 years away for a long-overdue anniversary celebration. We've never been much on anniversaries, but this one was like one of those delicious dreams that are broken just as you wake. The kind that you're diving back under the pillows to try and immerse yourself in once more. It was shared bliss. I think we're going to have to start doing this anniversary thing more often!
Just one more week of being DINKs and then it's back up to central Florida to retrieve the beloved munchkins. We tried to watch Lilo & Stitch without them last night, and it just wasn't the same. I needed #2 to do her Stitch impressions, and sorely missed the frowny-smile/giggle that would have followed from #1. Time without them has been wonderful, but they are sorely missed.
The daily grind is coming all too soon tomorrow, but it's a short week and then off to get the girls and then fly to Boston for training and a Seisun withmstarfire. Life could definitely be worse. ;)
