quisletThe last of the brush is cleared and the broken sprinkler is finally fixed. My exotics have been limping along with rain and hand-watering all week. Now Theophilus (my beloved cacao tree) will be happy and the bananas will have a fighting chance against the summer heat and Florida sun. Even Fred (the Monstera) had begun to wither. Next on the yard-work agenda will be overhauling the sprinklers and replacing anything that looks feeble.
Had a delightful time today with the girls at Charlie & the Chocolate Factory. I recommend it highly, but don't expect Gene Wilder's version! It definitely _is_ a Tim Burton movie. Poor![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
ginger_rose napped through the afternoon, as she was up all night with another hardware cutover or somesuch. She's such a trooper.
Well, off to bed and then another work-week begins. Schlaf gut!
