Since I stole this from my firstborn, does that make this Daddy Tax?

I must admit, I'm much happier with this result than that blasted alignment test!

"Read a book!" - Handy

Ingmar Bergman
Your film will be 69% romantic, 28% comedy, 40% complex plot, and a $ 42 million budget.

Your life will be portrayed on film as an intense psychological drama,
likely with some actresses screaming at the camera (Persona), or maybe
a pleasant chess game between the Grim Reaper and a Crusader (The
Seventh Seal). This Swedish director's films are intensely scrutinzed
and studied in colleges all over the world to this day. This means that
most Americans still don't understand his films! Still alive, he
released in the U.S. in 2005 his first film in 23 years (Saraband), and
he can still take on one more project to make your film biography. If
curious, start with his films Wild Strawberries and Smiles of a Summer
Night.

Reisling! My wine of choice these days! YAY! My neighbor just nipped out to buy a bottle, rent a movie and come snuggle with me.

Counting the days til you and your family (and the Edie shaped person)come to visit!

I'm counting, too! I need to get my brain out of weekday-work mode and find my muse so that I can work up my menu suggestions. Come to think of it, my muse is remarkably Edie-shaped! I must go study this and confirm the Edie-shapedness when she returns from [livejournal.com profile] robyn_badfellow's bus stop. ;)

I should comment on the wine shouldn't I?

In Franconia you drink dry white wines like Silvaner, or not quite as dry Müller-Thurgau.

(I personally really like Californian Chardonnay or Australian Shiraz! *wink*)

I prefer very dry wines, myself. We had just finished a bottle of California Shiraz and needed a little bit more. Riesling was the only thing left in the house. This one was a California Riesling that wasn't as sweet as I expected and had a nice smoky quality to it.

My absolute favorite is a robust, throaty red like a Pinot Noir or an Argentine Malbec. I greatly prefer Australian Shiraz to California, and I'm also fond of Sangiovese.

I translated your reply for my husband who bids me to reply that he favours the great French wines, especially Bordeaux from the Medoc.

Sangiovese is lovely with pizza! :D
