The girls are out of school today (how are they supposed to get a decent education if the teachers get so many days off?), and Zed is borrowing my car to transport something large, so I'm closeted in at home.

I just finished the most tedious staff call with my boss (who has been out all week). I was IMing

mstarfire that it felt like serving on a ship that was just about to mutiny. The man has alienated everyone on the team, and every moment of interaction has this bitter foment just beneath the surface like a ragged pulse. It's tiring to watch, but the bright side is none of it is directed at me (for the moment...foment...*giggle*).

So if work insists on being tedious, I shall focus my energies elsewhere and continue to appreciate life as it comes to me!
