Ah, 'tis Autumn

I know it's drizzly out, but I haven't seen an autumn in seven years. #1 found a spiced cider at Trader Joe's that tastes just like my mother's applesauce, and everybody has been excavating long-forgotten jackets. The cider is now mulled, and mine just a bit grogged.

This is lovely.

I definatly understand the wonders of fall. Although I get to experience it every couple of years. The vine maples are all starting to turn red. And last night the wind shifted and the rain was here by the morning. I have been warned that it is the begining of the rain, but I am still loving it anyway. I am quite happy with my new choice of location. I am glad that you are enjoying yours too.

Isn't it wonderful? We're really enjoying all the colors and cooler weather (although Monday and Tuesday it was in the 90s). Tomorrow we are going to take Elanor to the fall Farm Show to see all the animals and then to an authentic pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin for carving. It's just delightful.
