Back to school

This little boy is back in school, doing one of those nifty online graduate degree thingies. I'm slowly rediscovering the parts of my brain that got me through school oh-so-many years ago. It's very interesting finding the odd bits that got packed away with the neurons and disciplines that I haven't used in so long.

It feels rather like going through old boxes in the attic, finding memories and asking "Why did I pack that away? I could really use that!" or "I really should have thrown that bit away long ago."

Please forgive me if I slip into pontification more often over the next triple-handful of months, it has become a survival skill for me once more. Fortunately, in other news, my muse has been hanging about more often, so maybe my posting will take on the hemisphere-wise crosstalk of "A Scanner Darkly." All right brain one day, all left brain the next. That could be fun!
